UPDATE: GU 61 has been postponed and will now be released on Thursday, August 25.

Smokejumper has posted, on the official forums, a few very important things to know about the upcoming GU 61 which is due out Tuesday, August 23 Thursday, August 25.

The highlights are:

• All Attuned items will be un-attuned.
• All AA will be reset
• All adornments on equipped and attuned items will be removed and put in your inventory

If you plan right, you can use this opportunity to have some items reset so you can pass them to an alt and you can also (if I read that right) get some adornments back from old gear that you've grown out of.
